Another classic release has surfaced in the AppStore , Capcom have quietly released Mega Man 2 an exact port of the classic game.
The game is fun and has a great nostalgic factor, it features all 14 levels and 9 unique bosses. Every thing sounds good until you actually play the game. The controls are impossible , the designers tried to keep the original buttons and joystick but they made them imprecise and way to cluttered. The screen is also to small as the Mega Man logo on top takes up useless space.
PRO’s:
- Great NES feel and classic soundtrack
- It brings back all the original levels and original graphics along with all your favorite characters
- Lot’s of hours of gameplay
CON’s:
- CONTROLS , they are the biggest disapointment , they take up to much of the screen and they are not precise
- Could use a landscape mode and a not so cluttered screen

It is available at the App Store for 4.99$ , small price for a very good game

This is probably one of the worst and useless ports I have ever seen, officially marketed that is. The controls and mechanics, movement, collision, damage all seems broken and looks like someone whipped it up in a few weeks with a game maker or multimedia creator such as flash. MegaMan is nothing but a cash cow being milked dry. And it is dreadfully sad. No care and respect for the blue bomber any longer. At the start he blew open the door for Capcom, now they should hold it wide open for him…

The one thing seems to be good about this is the balance. Seeing as the controls were probably never going to be tight, giving you the option of playing this on an easier difficulty kinda of makes this easier to swallow. Same time though, kinda undecided about downloading this.
