A year has passed since the launch of the App Store , we’ve seen lot’s of games that blew our minds, either with stunning graphics or with complex game features that even rival PC games, but few stood the test of time. In the end the games that keep your fingers glued to the screen are the ones that start from a simple idea, are casual , have simple and intuitive controls , beautiful graphics and an overall fun gameplay. ” The Treasures of Montezuma” is one of those games ! It takes the classic puzzle game in which you have to make rows of gems of the same color and gives it an aztec feel, also throwing in some awesome graphics and effects.
In Treasures of Montezuma you must make consecutive matches of the same artifacts to make them disappear as fast as possible before the time runs out. You can swap an artifact with another next to it one only if by that you create a chain, this feature makes The Treasures of Montezuma more challenging than similar games. To get bonuses you must do several combos that unleash some beautifully designed chain reaction effects. Each level you successfully complete awards you gold stars that you can spend increasing different bonuses and power totems.

The controls are simple and intuitive , you touch the artifact that you want to swap and than you touch the one you want to swap it for .
You also have a “hint” button that points out a swappable artifact in case you are stuck.
