iFPS Online is an online first person shooter arena game, that brings battlematches to the iPhone / iPod Touch for those who want some fragging action on the go.
Everyone was excited when ngmoco:) announced “LiveFire” at the 3.0 Keynote so a similar approach to a FPS game seemed a perfect idea, unfortunately the guys at Pick up and Play rushed their release. Read the rest of this entry »

Snake Galaxy - iPhone Review
Back in the day , Snake was the epiphany of mobile gaming , if you had a Nokia 3310 with Snake you pretty much had it all. The game was incredibly addictive and was one of the first mobile games that really showed everyone that the mobile device was a great gaming platform. Since the launch of the App Store some have tried to bring something new to the Snake game genre , a noticeable one was Robo Snake 3D an interesting attempt with nice 3D graphics but with few maps and a game play that quickly became repetitive. Snake Galaxy launched today by Dig Dog brings the classic snake game back ! With frequent new planet updates this game has the potential of being one of those iconic iPhone games ! io - iPhone Review

IO the much awaited side scrolling platform game from Chiilingo is finally out ! But unfortunately it seems like someone in the dev team played a joke and released it WAY to soon. The game feels totally unfinished , even from the menu settings things like “Show/Hide FPS” or “Show/Hide Skeleton” point to that. We started a new game and the bad surprises kept coming. It took almost 30 sec to load , most of the screen is covered in controls with huge buttons for JUMP and RUN/WALK/CROUCH toggle and a tiny D-pad that has extremely cramped directionals controls. The actual game screen is half the iPhone’s screen size, it looks like a forced 16:9 view. We played a bit , killed a mecha enemy but unfortunately kept dieing soon after for no apparent reason over and over again. We will be back with an update after we pass this curious impediment. Till then here is a short game play video : Read the rest of this entry »
Cooking Quest - iPhone Review
Cooking Quest is a hidden object game from “Big Fish Games”. As with most other games of this type, you will have to hunt for objects through a room filled with clutter. Locate the hidden objects from the list, then touch them to scratch them off your list.
We didn’t know what to expect from The Cooking Quest game, when we first got wind of it, we expected another game, more focused on preparing food ,but found the Hidden Object approach to be quite a refreshing spin brought to this type of game.
In Cooking Quest your goal is to prepare meals in six different locations, each of which offer a different cuisine: Italian, French, Mexican, Asian fusion, seafood and a good old American steakhouse. Read the rest of this entry »
Car Jack Streets - iPhone Review

Car Jack Street is what I have always dreamed a Grand Theft Auto inspired game should look like on the iPhone. The only thing that could surpass this would be if Rockstar (GTA developer) should port the original game on it.
There has been another port for this game called Payback, which in his own way was a pretty decent adaptation of GTA, but it felt like it needed a lot of polish. Car Jack Streets addresses this problem, by copying the graphics of the original GTA first games, and adding some 3d elements (the buildings for example).. Even the storyline is well rounded, a lot better than the one from Payback. Read the rest of this entry »
Ninja Shadow - iPhone Review
We just stumbled upon a fun new jump action game called Ninja Shadow. The game is a interesting Doodle Jump clone. The goal is to get as high as possible. The game machenics are the same, but instead of jumping on platforms you climb by going though “yellow fire”. On the way up you encounter three types of boosts: blue fire, yellow fire and scrolls. Blue fire provides a normal boost, the yellow one propels you further and finally scrolls which are several times more power full than the fires. Read the rest of this entry »

Reflexion - iPhone Review

Reflexion is a brand new brick breaker game from “Trileet Inc”, at first we thought it was just your run of the mill clone of the hundreds of brick breaking games available on the App Store, but fortunately Reflexion brings something new to the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Reflexion gives you the power to create your own paddle anywhere on the screen and angle the ball wherever you want. This feature is really challenging and opens up some new strategies that you can apply and work with your paddle is no longer pinned to the bottom of the screen which is typical of these kinds of games.
