Fast & Furious The Game - iPhone Review

Fast & Furious The Game from i-Play is a new game based on the Fast and Furious Pink Slip. The graphics are identical but overall this new one is much better. The game has a lot more features , more interesting cut-scenes and even an interesting story line.
The game is more complex than its predecessor featuring a ton of more gameplay time with 7 different game modes. You have the classic Road Race , Drift Race , Drag Race , GPS Race ( check point race ) , Tunnel Run , Pursuit and Evade.
The controls are very intuitive and precise , during a normal race you control the car by tilting your iPhone , and press the NOS button for a limited speed burst. In drag mode the car navigates on its own, you just have to shift gears by tapping on a rev counter that appears on the screen. In tunnel mode you do the same thing the only difference is that you also have to tap a series of traffic lights to choose the right path.
Overall the game is well put together with very little short comings , and even though it has a fairly expensive price tag it is worth the money.

- Great gameplay , the controls are smooth and very responsive making the game fun and casual
- For a game of this type with complex graphics and mechanics the loading times are virtually inexistent , you just pick the game up and you find yourself racing in seconds.
- All the game modes diversify the gaming experience greatly increasing the gameplay time

CON’s:
- The graphics of the game could be better , “Fastlane” another racing game of this kind has far more superior ones , but then again it is not nearly so complex in gameplay.
