Freefall’n is a new skydiving game for the iPhone / iPod Touch , similar to the previous iSkidive but different in design and feel. The games have the same concept but Freefall’n ads some challenges and some better controls. iSkidive wins at graphics mainly because it has a 3D design but looses at handling and game play fun.
In Freefall’n your character jumps out of a plane , you have to steer him using the accelerometer to collect stars and fly through hoops (which multiply your points) .Collect as many stars as you can before you reach a safety zone after that you pull the cord and glide gently to a marked spot , the closer you land to the middle the more points you get. Robotco - iPhone Review

Robotco is a cute game that just hit the iPhone’s App Store, from a developer with probably the best name ever… Bambalam. The creator of the game is Swedish and the game reflects that by being minimalistic but attractive. Although this is a small game it has a pretty distinct charm that makes it very addictive. Adding to the feeling of the game is the soundtrack composed by the electronic pop artist Cuckoo ?!
You play Robotco with the help of the Iphone’s multitouch screen by moving up to four robots to separate them. If the Steam Larie rev 2 robot gets mixed with the others it will explode and end the game. Read the rest of this entry »
2XL Supercross - iPhone Review

As the App Store grows so does the quality of the games on it, and a perfect example of this is the new 2XL Supercross. This is an all new off-road racing experience with probably the best graphics you will find in an Iphone game. The technology behind it is pretty impressive for a mobile game including: fully interactive 3d physics, surround sound, projected shadows and lightning and even particle effects. It really is amazing how the developers have managed to squeeze all of this on a game for the iPhone, and only shows the potential of this smart-phone. Read the rest of this entry »
Tap Tap Coldplay - iPhone Review

I will start this review with a hint: if you are an Iphone developer, and you don’t have an original idea for a game just copy a successful one from the PC or Console market. Of course, an idea is not enough; you also have to do a good implementation, this being the part where a lot of developers fail, even big ones like Capcom with their MegaMan 2 port. But this is not the case of Tapolous and their Tap Tap Revenge series.
In this review I am going to talk about Tap Tap Coldplay. This game is the latest and probably the best release in the Tap Tap Revenge series which also includes: Tap Tap Revenge, Tap Tap Revenge 2, Tap Tap Dance and Nine Inch Nails Revenge. The first two are both free downloads on the appstore and include a multitude of free songs to download online. Read the rest of this entry »

Mini Golf Ace - iPhone Review

Mini Golf Ace is not your regular run of the mill flashy , colorful , mini golf but a more clean and minimal approach to this kind of game. The producers wanted to create an alternative offering you the possibility to play mini golf on an stainless steel course with simple intuitive controls and clear soundfx. The game has no music but allows you to play while listening to your iPod , which is a good thing.
There are 18 lanes which have to be played the classical mini golf style from the first to the last one. Difficulty of the lanes differs, but there is no it’s-getting-harder-from-level-to-level, because that’s not the point of the game, the designers tried to provide a good mix of difficulty from lane to lane.
