Robotco - iPhone Review

Robotco is a cute game that just hit the iPhone’s App Store, from a developer with probably the best name ever… Bambalam. The creator of the game is Swedish and the game reflects that by being minimalistic but attractive. Although this is a small game it has a pretty distinct charm that makes it very addictive. Adding to the feeling of the game is the soundtrack composed by the electronic pop artist Cuckoo ?!
You play Robotco with the help of the Iphone’s multitouch screen by moving up to four robots to separate them. If the Steam Larie rev 2 robot gets mixed with the others it will explode and end the game.
The player gets rewarded if he manages to make different combos and multicolor stunts.
Robotco is a very simple game, which you will learn to play in less than a minute, but will keep you glued to your touch screen for hours. The only downside of this game is the price. Although it is not on the expensive side of the appstore it is still not cheap enough for the complexity it offers. I for one would still pay the full price for it, but I think if the dev would drop the price to 99 cents, he would see an increase in download and profits.

Pro’s:
- Nice multi touch control , you can control up to 4 targets at once
- Addictive game play
- Cute graphics and great soundtrack



Con’s:
- A little bit too expensive for what it offers
- As you run through the levels they become insanely hard
