Annihilation Arena - iPhone Review

Annihilation Arena from JDTec is a brand new space shooter with iDracula type controls. You are in charge of a battle ship / hovercraft, armed with various weapons that range from cannons , missile launchers , plasma guns and even EMP style weapons that destroy everything in range. The object of the game is to survive the hordes of enemy ships that attack in waves. There are many types of enemies which make you always rethink your strategy, you have to dodge homing mines, flamethrowing ships , cannon firing swarms and boss-like battleships that can swiftly take you out.

You fight across 3 environments : Ancient Egypt, an Ice Planet and a Volcanic World , you have to explore them to find different power ups that enhance your speed, damage and shield you from attacks.

Annihilation Arena offers intense game play , stunning visuals and beautiful music to tie it all together.

The frame rate is also very good and it does’t lag at all even while your battling large numbers of foes.

Overall Annihilation Arena for the iPhone and iPod Touch is a fun challenging game that impressed us with the fluidity and smoothness of its game play.

Controls:
-Control ship movement using the green control pad. Use the red control pad for aiming and firing.
