I will start this review with a hint: if you are an Iphone developer, and you don’t have an original idea for a game just copy a successful one from the PC or Console market. Of course, an idea is not enough; you also have to do a good implementation, this being the part where a lot of developers fail, even big ones like Capcom with their MegaMan 2 port. But this is not the case of Tapolous and their Tap Tap Revenge series.
In this review I am going to talk about Tap Tap Coldplay. This game is the latest and probably the best release in the Tap Tap Revenge series which also includes: Tap Tap Revenge, Tap Tap Revenge 2, Tap Tap Dance and Nine Inch Nails Revenge. Piano Man is one of those games that you just can’t stop smiling when you are playing it. This is a lost gem between hundreds of Iphone games in the appstore, and it is totally worth buying.
The game is based on hit games like Guitar Hero, but instead of a guitar you play a piano and instead of rock you get to reproduce classical songs. Read the rest of this entry »
